Questions people ask

Who runs this website?

SingaporeBalloonArtists.com is a booking service for balloon artists, based in Singapore. Every enquiry and booking made here is handled by our team in Singapore.

How much does a balloon artist cost in Singapore?

Usually SGD 250 to 320 for 1 hour at a birthday party and SGD 380 to 480 for 2 hours. A corporate walk-around with 1 to 2 artists for 2 hours usually costs SGD 500 to 800.

How many balloons does one artist make?

About 15 to 25 simple pieces an hour, at 2 to 4 minutes each. For more than 60 to 80 guests in a fixed time, book two or more artists.

Which designs can the guests choose?

The standard set covers animals, swords, flowers, hats and crowns, and simple characters. Custom characters and branded shapes can be asked for in advance at extra cost.

Can you make a licensed cartoon character?

Licensed characters may be declined for copyright reasons. Ask when you book, before you promise one to the birthday child.

What do you need at the venue?

For a station, a small table in a clear corner. For roving, nothing but a place to leave a bag. No power is needed.

Do you use helium?

Twisting balloons are filled by hand pump. Some hotels and malls restrict helium, so check the house rules if you plan other balloons.

Can I book a face painter too?

Yes. A balloon artist and a face painter together is the most common pairing at Singapore kids parties, and one booking for both usually costs less.

How early should I book?

Two to four weeks ahead for a normal birthday party, earlier for school holiday weekends. December and Chinese New Year are the tightest. Corporate events at major venues should confirm 4 to 6 weeks ahead.

Do you do balloon arches or balloon decoration?

No. This site books balloon artists who twist and sculpt live at events in Singapore. Arches and decoration are a different service.
